I always have a hard time writing about myself. I think it’s because this part is always supposed to say “Magen is a mother to two wonderful children, and a wife to a super great guy named Greg Brown. They live on an acreage west of Rimbey with their 3 dogs and a schwack of cats. And they all lived happily ever after. The end.” 

It doesn’t tell you how ingenious I am at creating hip waders with duct tape and garbage bags, or that I’ve burnt every single grilled cheese I’ve ever made, or that most of the time I am just standing in the kitchen, trying to remember why I’m in the kitchen. I also love ’79 Fords and I get emotional at car shows. My heaven on earth is being in an indoor jungle, and nothing beats walking around my yard in the summer, sipping coffee and saying enthusiastic good mornings to all the plants and sleepy insects starting their day. I feel my best in a crazy pair of glasses and my cowboy boots on, with just a little bit of cow poop on my jeans to remind me of my roots. I am highly clairvoyant and am used to seeing subtle movement all around me, but every time my husband quietly walks into a room it startles me and makes me jump. 

I once asked my husband what he would say about me at my funeral. He thought for a minute and replied, “She was quirky”. I couldn’t argue with that.   

I absolutely love being a medium and it’s my intention that my readings bring healing and a positive shift in people’s lives. Selfishly, I want to make the absolute most of my life, and to me, there is nothing more valuable than raising others up. If I can bring peace, healing, forgiveness, and light into peoples lives, then that ripples out into this world, and I can be damn happy with that.  

It’s easy to think that since our loved ones have passed away, that they are waaay up in heaven, but the truth is that heaven is all around us and so are our loved ones. They guide us, support us, celebrate with us, and comfort us. They are always with us, but we so rarely notice them because their presence is so subtle. 

I love that as an evidential medium, I get to connect people with their loved ones again. I become the “translator” for your conversation, relaying messages, recalling cherished memories, and so much more. I help people to remember the feeling of being with their loved ones again, and to know that they never really left. I also relay messages from guides and angels. Even though they are connecting with us every day, it can be a great help to learn how you can tune in to better to receive their guidance.   

You may have had a difficult relationship with someone who has passed on. Let’s be honest, relationships with the people closest to us can be the most challenging and when that relationship ends without the opportunity to reconcile, it causes a deep pain that is in need of healing and closure. A lot of times, one last conversation can do just that.  

One on one sessions last an hour, where we can meet in person, via zoom, or telephone. During our session, passed family, friends, pets, guides, and angels may come through. It is ok to wish to speak with someone in particular, but ultimately it is up to the spirits to determine who gets to come through. They want what’s best for you and will ensure that whoever you speak with will bring forward the messages and healing you need at this time.    

I also really like to do group readings! Getting together with 10 or more friends for a 2 hour group reading can be really fun! Bring out the snacks and gather round to see who comes through and what they have to say! If there is time, we can bring out the oracle cards for advice on specific issues, or general messages.   

After the 2 hour group reading, I offer time for up to 4 private mini readings. These readings are 15 minutes each and can be a reading of a loved one or an oracle card reading.    

*Although group readings are a lot of fun, we must always be respectful to our spirit guests. They have waited a long time to get their messages to you. I ask that drinking is kept to an absolute minimum. If you are not sharp, it may be harder for me to connect. Think of it this way, you would never throw a party, get 3 sheets to the wind, and expect Great Gramma to show up to entertain you and your friends. She would probably walk right out the door! 

Pressing questions within our life can often plague our thoughts and leave us feeling defeated and lost.  Using my oracle cards, I can help alleviate the confusion by relaying messages from the higher awareness that is being transmitted through the use of the cards.   

I'm a teacher at heart and so I now offer in-person oracle card reading workshops! Come to a prearranged workshop, or get a great deal if you host your own! When you gather and host 10 or more friends, you get your admission for free!

2 hour group mediumship reading (min 10 people) $55/person. Host is free!

30 minute in depth oracle card reading for 1 pressing question. This can be done in person, via zoom or by phone. $50 

Oracle card reading workshop $60/person. Min 10 people.  If you would like to host a private oracle reading workshop, a deposit of  $540 must be paid at time of booking. The host is free! Any remainder may be paid at anytime prior to the workshop.

 My mom hosts a really great market in her yard at Miller Lake, Edson. She bakes the BEST cheese bread, cinnamon buns and other adventurous treats that are sure to surprise you. There will be an amazing selection of home made soy candles, crafts, home made trinkets, and much more! My kids will be selling baked goodies and hand made walking sticks. I will be there too, offering medium readings! $50 for half hour and $100 for an hour.  We hope to see you there!
